Tenfold seeks an Investment Associate to join a private credit investment firm, focused on digital infrastructure, technology services, and enterprise software.

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of deal execution experience and the technical ability to contribute from day one. The firm has a strong track record in private credit with a concentrated focus on digital infrastructure, technology services, and enterprise software. The group is in an active growth phase. It recently brought on a senior leader to build out the strategy and has promoted from within, reflecting strong ambitions for near‑term growth. As a core team member in a lean DC office, you'll have genuine ownership across deal execution and portfolio management.

This is an opportunity to join a firm that uses a thesis‑driven approach to identify and invest in middle‑market businesses with strong recurring revenue models across sectors that are reshaping how digital economies are built and operated.

What You'll Do

As an Investment Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Building financial models and structuring credit solutions for high‑growth businesses across digital infrastructure and software.
• Working directly with senior team members to evaluate opportunities and drive execution.
• Taking ownership of portfolio monitoring and active engagement with portfolio companies.
• Covering investments across data centers, fiber networks, cloud and managed services, and enterprise software.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in private equity, direct lending, private credit, or leveraged finance. The range varies by firm—what matters more is the depth of your underwriting experience.
• Technical ability: Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills are essential.
• Exposure: Some familiarity with technology, digital infrastructure, or software sectors is a plus. You don't need to be a specialist, but you should be able to speak to these themes credibly.
• Location: Washington DC. Candidates with a genuine, long‑term commitment to the market are strongly preferred.
