Job summary

Delmar Nord in New York is seeking a Senior Associate to structure, execute, and monitor project finance deals for digital infrastructure clients. You will be a key day-to-day contact on live transactions, mentoring juniors and advancing client ownership with Vice Presidents and Directors.

The role requires 3–5 years in project or infrastructure finance, strong modeling skills, and direct experience with data centers, fiber, or towers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in project/infrastructure finance within an investment bank, commercial bank, or infrastructure fund.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant master's degree a plus but not required at this level.
• Direct experience with digital infrastructure assets (data center, fiber, tower) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling for project finance transactions, including cash flow models and debt sizing.
• Prepare credit papers, information memoranda, and internal approval documents.
• Coordinate due diligence with legal counsel, technical advisers, insurance consultants, and engineers.
• Support negotiation of term sheets, credit agreements, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Manage relationships with sponsors, developers, hyperscale tenants, and co‑lenders.
• Monitor portfolio credits post close, including covenant compliance and reviews.
• Contribute to market coverage, sector research, and client presentations.
• Supervise Analysts, providing technical guidance and feedback.

About Us

We are currently partnered with a bulge bracket investment bank expanding its project finance team in digital infrastructure, financing data center, fiber, tower, and hyperscale or edge computing assets.

The Role

The team is looking for a Senior Associate to take on a central role in structuring, executing, and monitoring project finance transactions for digital infrastructure clients. You will act as a key day to day contact on live deals, working closely with Vice Presidents and Directors, while mentoring junior team members and building toward increasing ownership of client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling for project finance transactions, including construction and operating cash flow models, sensitivity analysis, and sculpting of debt repayment profiles
• Prepare credit papers, information memoranda, and internal approval documents for bank debt, private placements, and capital markets executions
• Coordinate due diligence work streams with legal counsel, technical advisers, insurance consultants, and independent engineers
• Support negotiation of term sheets, credit agreements, and intercreditor arrangements alongside senior bankers and legal teams
• Manage relationships with sponsors, developers, hyperscale tenants, and co lenders throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Monitor portfolio credits post close, including covenant compliance, waiver requests, and periodic credit reviews
• Contribute to market coverage and origination efforts, including sector research, pitch materials, and client presentations
• Supervise and review the work of Analysts, providing technical guidance and feedback

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, leveraged finance, or a closely related discipline within an investment bank, commercial bank, or infrastructure fund
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant master's degree a plus but not required at this level
• Direct experience with digital infrastructure assets, including data center, fiber, or tower financing, strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including project finance cash flow modeling and debt sizing
• Strong working knowledge of credit analysis, capital structures, and legal documentation for secured lending
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior clients and internal stakeholders
