Job description

Role: Lead the transformation of process and manufacturing technologies for Takeda’s Drug Product (DP) network, focusing on setting strategic directions and enabling scalable, innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute technology visions and roadmaps for DP equipment, drive digitalization and Pharma 4.0 initiatives, and harmonize best practices across sites; support CAPEX projects and vendor evaluations; establish communities of practice and standards; collaborate with global engineering, site teams, and leadership; and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

10-15 years’ experience in biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical engineering, with expertise in product development or manufacturing equipment (formulation, fill & finish, inspection, packaging); technical/scientific/engineering degree; strong leadership and communication skills; industry recognition or leadership in the field preferred.

HighValue: 10-15 years in biopharma engineering, focus on Drug Product manufacturing technologies, experience with cGMP/GLP, ICH, FDA CMC, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation.
