Digitailor is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to maintain, grow, and improve a portfolio of lighting products and services. You will oversee Engineered-to-Order product sales and support other sustainment roles while interfacing with manufacturing, product management, quality, and other engineering teams.

The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and 5–7 years of related experience, proficiency in MS Excel, and 2D/3D CAD.

• A 4-year degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of related experience is preferred.
• Must be proficient in MS Excel.
• 2D and 3D CAD experience is needed.
• SAP ERP system experience is highly desirable.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the engineering duties required to maintain, grow, and improve a portfolio of lighting products and services. The position is expected to oversee the execution of Engineered-to-Order product sales as well as supporting other product-sustainment roles while interfacing with various departments including manufacturing, product management, quality, and other engineering departments. Secondary Roles: Coordinate testing requirements and complete prototype builds to support marketing and sales needs such as product expansions. Perform profitability improvement (VEA) projects such as product-cost reductions and/or inventory reductions. Collaborate with Product Managers to implement product discontinuations, obsolete products and recommend dispositions of inventory. Requirements

A 4-year degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of related experience is preferred. Must be proficient in MS Excel. 2D and 3D Computer Aided Drafting experience is needed.
