Job summary

Brown & Brown in Daytona Beach seeks a Senior Director of Finance Business Partner – Technology to lead financial strategy for the Tech organization. You will partner with the CITO and Technology leaders to govern investments, plan budgets, and drive value from technology initiatives.

The role requires deep FP&A expertise, strong executive presence, and a passion for leveraging cloud, AI, and digital transformations to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience with executive-level partnerships.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment governance, and business case development.
• Experience with technology, cloud economics, FinOps, vendor management, and tech portfolio governance.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Curiosity about technology and the ability to translate tech investments into business value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance Partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team, collaborating on strategy, operating reviews, investment governance, and decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the Technology organization to align with corporate targets.
• Advise IT SLT on forecasts, budgets, cost containment, accounting treatments, and financial implications of tech decisions.
• Lead the AI Value Office for Technology Solutions with business-case standards, KPI dashboards, and value realization reporting.
• Provide financial leadership on technology investments, transformation programs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and platform modernization.
• Govern investment portfolios with clear financial analysis, risk assessments, and measurable value outcomes.
• Maintain transparency in Technology spending across labor, software, cloud, and data platforms.
• Oversee cost allocation methodologies ensuring equitable distribution across business units.
