Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Director, Finance Business Partner – Technology in Daytona Beach, FL. This strategic finance leader acts as the primary partner to the Technology organization, guiding forecasts, budgets, cost containment, and investments across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data, and digital capabilities.

Collaboration with the CITO and Technology leadership is essential for aligning financial plans with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience with executive partners.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment governance, and value realization.
• Experience with technology, cloud economics, FinOps, vendor management, and portfolio governance.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance Partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team, guiding strategic planning and investment governance.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for Technology functions.
• Advise IT leadership on forecasts, budgets, cost containment, and accounting treatments.
• Lead the AI Value Office for Technology Solutions, develop business case standards, and track benefits and value realization.
• Provide financial leadership on technology investments, transformations, and platforms modernization initiatives.
• Partner with Technology leadership to govern portfolios with clear financial analysis and measurable value.
• Maintain transparency of technology spending across labor, contractors, software, cloud, and data platforms.
• Support cloud and AI governance through FinOps practices and forecast optimization.
