Priester Aviation LLC is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead our maintenance organization for a rapidly expanding fleet. Based at our Wheeling, IL headquarters, the role focuses on building a high-performing team, instituting scalable processes, and deploying technology to improve reliability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of aviation maintenance experience with strong leadership, deep FAA knowledge, and a track record of driving continuous improvement in a Part

Qualifications

15+ years in aviation maintenance with leadership experience.
FAA A&P certification required.
Bachelor's degree preferred; significant experience considered.
Experience with Part 135/121 operations advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance organization and develop team members.
Design scalable, compliance-driven processes for a growing fleet.
Oversee maintenance systems (CAMP, CMP, AVTRAK) and workflows.
Ensure FAA compliance, airworthiness, and regulatory adherence.
Manage vendor audits, MEL/CDL, and corrective actions.
