Job summary

Priester Aviation LLC is seeking a Maintenance Controller to coordinate all maintenance activities for Part 135 charter operations. You will ensure timely maintenance releases, liaise with flight operations, and support FAA compliance to keep aircraft airworthy.

The role requires 3–5 years in aviation maintenance, an A&P license, and strong organizational skills. Remote and Chicagoland area candidates are welcome, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• A&P license required; IA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Familiarity with CAMP/AVTRAK maintenance tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Act as liaison between flight operations and maintenance.
• Review and approve maintenance release documents for compliance.
• Manage aircraft discrepancies and oversee repairs.
• Maintain daily and long-term maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and airworthiness directives.
