Priester Aviation in the Chicagoland area is seeking a Maintenance Controller to coordinate maintenance and support Part 135 charter operations. You will act as the liaison between flight operations and maintenance to keep aircraft available and airworthy, while ensuring timely releases and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in aviation maintenance, an FAA A&P license, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, with focus on maintenance control and Part 135/121 operations.
• FAA A&P license required; IA preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Accept and prioritize aircraft discrepancies; oversee timely repairs.
• Manage parts, manpower, and travel for field repairs and returns to service.
• Review and approve maintenance release documents; ensure FAA and GMM compliance.
• Maintain daily and long-term maintenance schedules; plan unscheduled work.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
• Communicate maintenance status between maintenance, flight operations, and dispatch.
• Support revision of GMM, RVSM, MEL and other maintenance docs.
