Job summary

lululemon seeks a Technology Director to define and execute the multi-year strategy for modernizing global sourcing technology. You will lead architecture, engineering, security, and operations for 300 RM/FG vendors worldwide while guiding a distributed team across North America and India.

You will drive modernization, cloud migration, and responsible AI adoption, partnering with executives to align technology with business goals and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field or commensurate experience.
• 15+ years of technology experience, with 4+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale modernization in supply chain platforms.
• Proven success delivering transformations in costing, sourcing, PO management, supplier integration.
• Strong background in integration architectures (API platforms, EDI, event-driven design).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and programming in Python/Java.
• Experience managing large budgets and delivering high-impact technology programs.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive influencing skills.
• Experience with AI/ML use cases in supply chain or sourcing.
• Understanding of apparel/consumer goods vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a multi-year global sourcing technology strategy.
• Modernize costing and sourcing platforms with API-first and event-driven architectures.
• Lead globally distributed engineering, QA, and delivery teams and raise engineering standards.
• Oversee delivery, operations, and vendor management with clear ROI and TCO optimization.
• Introduce AI-driven decision support for should-cost modelling and capacity allocation.
