Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a Director of Technology to lead the school system's technology strategy. The role ensures secure, reliable technology to support teaching, learning, administration, and communications.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, administration, students, and families to promote a safe, values-centered digital environment and responsible use of technology in Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to people with varying levels of tech experience.
• Commitment to confidentiality and protecting student and school information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technology infrastructure including networks, servers, wireless systems, hardware, software, and classroom tech.
• Manage and maintain devices such as computers, tablets, Chromebooks, interactive displays, and printers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for faculty, staff, and students.
• Coordinate setup, maintenance, and inventory of technology equipment.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, passwords, and access to systems.
• Monitor cybersecurity, data protection, and technology safety.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and long-term tech replacement schedules.
