Job summary

The Cathedral of St. Raymond School in Joliet, IL seeks a part- or full-time K-8 Technology Coordinator/Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role blends leadership in instructional technology with direct teaching, guiding students and teachers in digital literacy, coding basics, and responsible use of technology. The position supports the school’s mission by promoting faith-centered, ethical use of digital tools, coordinating technology plans, professional development, and collaboration

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an Illinois PEL or valid out-of-state license.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
Practicing Catholic preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the school's technology plan.
Support teachers in integrating technology into instruction across all grades.
Provide professional development and coaching for faculty on instructional technology.
Serve as liaison between the school and external IT support providers.
Maintain oversight of school technology systems, devices, and platforms.
Assist planning for technology purchases, budgeting, and long-term planning.
Promote digital learning platforms and data systems; stay current on research.
