Job summary

Guerin Catholic is seeking a Director of Technology for a full-time exempt position reporting to the President. The role is a core member of the leadership team, ensuring technology is planned, implemented, and maintained to support the school's mission.

The director will establish the school's technology plan, guide capital budgeting, oversee infrastructure and software, set security standards, and manage relationships with the MSP and vendors while driving critical strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has background in education and IT.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and oversee technology in a school setting.
• Experience with one-to-one technology initiatives and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction in applying technology to meet school needs.
• Collaborate with administration and teachers to enable a 1:1 environment.
• Assist Academic administration in designing professional development.
• Lead IT staff in hardware, software, and application support.
• Manage and support network infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Oversee hardware (MacBooks/PCs), phones, printers, cameras, access control, POS.
• Maintain Learning Management System, Student Information System, Google Workspace, Naviance.
• Serve as first point of contact for hardware, software, phone, printer, and network issues.
• Escalate issues to external MSPs when necessary.
• Update Technology Plan and budget impact; manage vendor relationships.
• Assist departments with data collection and analysis; write grants/scope docs.
