The Chair will oversee curricular integrity, accreditation compliance, budgeting, scheduling, and faculty development while advancing applied learning and workforce-aligned programs. Teaching a course per semester is expected.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a technology-related field.
  • Three years of full-time teaching experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Academic Leadership and Strategic Planning: provide vision and leadership for programs.
  • Curriculum oversight and scheduling to ensure industry relevance and outcomes.
  • Faculty recruitment, development, evaluation, and retention of faculty.
  • Student success and engagement across technology programs.
  • Compliance, accreditation, and institutional effectiveness responsibilities.
  • Budget, resource, and facilities management for the department.
  • Industry, community engagement and institutional partnerships.
  • Administrative operations and communication, including meetings and reporting.
  • Teaching one course per semester in technologies and scholarly activities.
