Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic record.
• Bar admission and in good standing in at least one state.
• Minimum 5 years of experience practicing technology law in corporate or large firm settings.
• Proven expertise in software licensing, data privacy, cybersecurity, and IP law.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting complex technology agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing technology and AI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on technology issues including software licenses, data rights, IP, AI, open source, and privacy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements (licenses, APIs, cloud, development agreements).
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on impacts to operations and strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing to ensure compliance in technology initiatives.
• Develop policies addressing AI and technology legal issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct employee trainings on technology and AI legal topics.
• Manage external counsel on specialized technology matters.
• Provide strategic guidance on IP protection and enforcement.
