Job summary

The Research Foundation for The State University of New York at Stony Brook seeks a Technology Commercialization Assistant to support the Intellectual Property Partners (IPP) staff in a broad range of administrative duties related to technology commercialization.

You will assist with invention disclosures, patent evaluation, portfolio management, and process improvements, working independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on data-driven decisions and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, Biological Science, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of professional administrative support for technology commercialization projects and initiatives.
• Learn about technology commercialization through market research, due diligence, technology research, and data-driven decisions.
• Attend and support IPP meetings and training opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
