Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is hiring a Manager, Technology Category Management to drive category strategy and sourcing for hardware, software, or technology services.

You will negotiate, lead sourcing events, and manage supplier relationships to deliver savings while aligning with business and IT stakeholders. The role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing with tech focus, strong analytical abilities, and experience in licensing and cloud agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management or procurement, with at least 3 years focused on technology
• Demonstrated success negotiating technology contracts and delivering measurable savings.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency with spend analytics and sourcing tools (Ariba, Power BI, Excel).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Category execution: Manage category strategies, sourcing plans and pipeline priorities; develop annual plan for assigned spend.
• Productivity identification: Analyze spend, demand and market data to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Sourcing and negotiation: Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations and awards.
• Contract expertise: MSAs, SaaS, Cloud Agreements and licensing terms knowledge.
• Productivity delivery: Deliver negotiated productivity and track benefits to completion.
• Supplier management: Monitor supplier performance, SLAs and KPIs; address risks.
