Job summary

Grant Thornton LLP is seeking an EAS Associate to join our Enterprise Assurance Services team in Philadelphia. You’ll work on engagements addressing governance, risk, and compliance across multiple industries, applying data analytics and AI tools to enhance assurance outcomes.

You will support planning, testing, and reporting across IT controls, attestation, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audits, collaborating with senior staff and client teams to deliver high‑quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• CPA eligibility preferred for certain roles.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing client engagements understanding objectives, risks, and controls.
• Evaluate and test business process and IT controls to support assurance objectives.
• Support IT audit, SOC reporting, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan engagements.
• Apply audit methodologies to identify deficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support conclusions.
• Utilize data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and insights.
• Perform walkthroughs and evidence collection with professional standard compliance.
• Draft workpapers and client communications with quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in client status meetings and maintain clear communication.
• Manage multiple assignments with deadlines and budgets.
• Understand client operations and emerging risks.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed on technologies, assurance trends, and regulatory changes.
