Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Enterprise Assurance Services Intern to join our Philadelphia, PA team. You will support client engagements across IT audits, SOC examinations, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audits, helping assess risks, evaluate controls, and deliver high-quality assurance services.

You’ll work with experienced professionals, leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools, and build skills in governance, risk management, and reporting in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, MIS, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0
• CPA eligibility preferred for some roles; pursuing CPA, CISA, CIA or other credentials encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing client engagements, understanding objectives, processes, risks, and control environments.
• Evaluate and test business and IT controls to support assurance objectives.
• Support IT audit, SOC reporting, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audits from planning through conclusion.
• Analyze data and apply data analytics tools to improve efficiency and insights.
• Collaborate with teams across service lines and offices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and client communications.
