Job summary

Katy ISD is seeking a Temporary Worker - Asset Management Warehouse Student Intern in Katy, Texas. Immediate start for a part-time role supporting technology asset handling and district asset management processes.

Responsibilities include receiving assets, tagging and recording in KAMS, preparing orders for campuses, and assisting with RFID inventory and district audits. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and engage with district staff across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years
• Current Katy ISD student
• Interest in technology, inventory management, logistics and warehouse operations
• Proficient in verbal and written communications

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming technology assets.
• Apply asset tags and record equipment in KAMS.
• Prepare and package technology orders for delivery to campuses.
• Organize and track inventory for accurate warehouse records.
• Assist with inventory control procedures and asset verification.
• Support annual district inventory audits via RFID scanning.
• Document asset transfers and inventory transactions in KAMS.
• Assist in delivery, pickup, and transportation of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Perform routine inventory counts and report discrepancies.
