Gateway Church is seeking a part-time Technology Administrative Support to provide the administrative backbone for the Technology department. The role handles expense reports, purchase orders, asset tracking, and documentation to free up the Operations, Infrastructure, Rock, and Support teams to focus on systems and people instead of paperwork.

The Technology Administrative Support role provides the administrative backbone of the Technology department. This part-time permanent role handles expense reports, purchase orders, helps with support triage, equipment logistics, and documentation that keep the Technology team running so the Operations, Infrastructure, Rock, and Support teams can spend their time on systems and people rather than paperwork.
Provides day-to-day administrative and coordination support for the Technology department and Technology leadership Handles the department's administrative processes: purchase requisitions, check requests, expense reports, invoices, and departmental billing within the approved threshold Maintains hardware and software asset records, including inventory, device assignment, licensing, and subscription renewal dates Routes procurement requests to the Vendor and Contract Specialist in Team Resources, and tracks them through approval, ordering, and delivery Supports budget tracking and reconciliation for the Operations Manager Maintains department records, documentation, filing, and standard operating procedures Coordinates scheduling for department meetings, vendor appointments, and project checkpoints Prepares recurring reports for the Operations Manager Maintains confidentiality of Team Member, system, and access information, and follows Gateway's access and retention policies Is present and serving at weekend services and churchwide events as the ministry calendar requires Performs other duties as assigned. As a member of the Gateway Church team, this position is expected to support, recruit, and develop Serve Team members, and to serve alongside the broader team as ministry and organizational needs arise.
A clear passion for Jesus and a strong biblical foundation Strong organizational skills and the ability to hold many moving parts at once Detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on purchasing, records, and ticket routing Working familiarity with technology terminology, hardware, and software licensing concepts Proficient written and verbal communication skills Able to handle system, access, and Team Member information with discretion Able to work independently without constant supervision Strong time-management skills and the ability to hold several priorities at once Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn and function within new software and systems
High school diploma or equivalent, and two or more years of administrative experience — required Experience supporting a technology, IT, or operations department — preferred Prior experience in a church or nonprofit environment — preferred
