Duly Health and Care in Naperville is actively recruiting a radiologic technologist to operate radiologic equipment and produce diagnostic X-rays under the Radiologist’s supervision.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, AART registration or eligibility, CPR certification, and 6 months to 2 years of related experience. Evening and holiday shifts are part of the schedule, with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• AART registered or eligible; IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification.
• Must be able to get along with others and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes under the Radiologist’s direction.
• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices for optimum view.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment into positions and sets exposure factors (time, distance).
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Obtains patient history and maintains crash cart, stock inventory, OSHA compliance.
• Reports to lead technologist and assists with patient workflow and department operations.
• May work evenings and holidays and support department leadership.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
