Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by ARRT standards.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography (ARRT(R)) or a new graduate waiting to take the registry.
  • State license as required.
  • Associates degree in related field (preferred).
  • BLS Certification within 14 days of hire (preferred).

  • Develops an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.

  • Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities to ensure patient care aligns with standards. Collects quality data for monitoring performance improvement.
  • Completes assigned goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required
  • Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.

  • Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R) or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry.
