Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with radiology standards, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires ARRT certification, MR-focused credentials or progress toward MR, and BLS within 30 days. You will maintain equipment, follow hospital protocols, and participate in PI activities to uphold patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all MRI competencies at the end of orientation period.
• Minimum Required: Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT ( R) required or Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Minimum Required: Basic computer literacy skills.
• Minimum Required: ARRT(R);ARRT(MR);BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE;STATE LICENSE AS REQUIRED

• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
