Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and therapies in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment. The role requires adherence to protocols and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The position involves applying radiologic principles, positioning for optimal results, and documenting activities to ensure policy compliance, with responsibility for equipment and room upkeep and participation in quality improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competency requirements.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R), with MRI registration preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire; new graduates to obtain registry within 60 days.
• Basic computer literacy; ARRT(MR) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans following established protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Achieves departmental goals and objectives.
