Job summary
Schmersal group is seeking a skilled product design professional to support master data, BOM maintenance, and electromechanical safety systems design in a collaborative international team.
You will create 3D CAD drawings (PTC Creo), review data in SAP, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate documentation and compliant layouts. We offer in-house training, flexible hours with home-office options, and a strong benefits program including health coverage.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally in the field of technical product design (specializing in product design and engineering).
- Further training in mechanical engineering is a plus.
- Relevant professional experience in the specified field and enthusiasm for electromechanical designs.
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English is mandatory.
- Independent, structured work style, ability to work in a team, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

- Creating nameplate and label layouts, including coordinating required information and change requests with the relevant departments and preparing the associated documentation.

- Classification of components using SAP and verification of stored data for completeness and plausibility.
