Job summary

fermacell is seeking a dedicated Central Laboratory Specialist FG to enhance quality control at their site in Seesen/Münchehof, Ohio. This full-time, permanent role involves ensuring the integrity of raw materials and products through meticulous testing and documentation.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of practical work experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven basic knowledge of quality processes.

Central Laboratory Specialist FG (f/d/m)

in Full-time employeeand permanent for our plant in Seesen/Münchehof.

Quality Control with Overview: You are responsible for quality control in the laboratory, including sampling and testing of raw materials, trading goods and finished products.

Testing & Documentation Excellence: You perform required laboratory and industrial tests, document test results accurately and continuously improve quality related documentation.

Central Quality Ownership: You take responsibility for the quality management system in the Central Laboratory and ensure correct, transparent and compliant quality documentation.

Learning & Development: You actively participate in professional trainings and qualification programs to continuously expand your expertise.

Strong Collaboration: You communicate efficiently within the team, cooperate effectively with other departments, support your teammates in their tasks and keep your supervisor well informed.

Safety with Responsibility: You work strictly in line with occupational health and safety regulations, correctly use protective equipment and actively contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment and immediately report incidents or hazards—looking out for yourself and others.

Mindful Daily Practice: You ensure proper condition of machines, tools and equipment, maintain order and cleanliness.

Ownership & Efficiency: You complete tasks on time, continuously develop your professional knowledge and handle materials and assets responsibly and efficiently.

  • smart? You have completed relevant professional training and have at least 12 months of practical work experience. In addition, you possess proven basic knowledge of quality processes. Your technical skill set includes fundamental laboratory and materials knowledge, particularly regarding physicochemical properties such as density, moisture content, and strength. You are able to correctly perform laboratory tests as well as operate and maintain laboratory equipment properly. You are confident in working with technical documentation and standards and have a good command of MS Office, especially Excel.

driven? You work in a disciplined and reliable manner, strictly adhering to defined procedures, and show a high level of resilience when dealing with routine and repetitive tasks. Taking responsibility and accountability for accurate test results comes naturally to you.
