Job summary

Florida Eye Specialists is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing practice in the Jacksonville area. You will perform advanced ophthalmic procedures, measurements and tests to provide physician data and assist in patient care.

No experience is necessary for the right candidate, as we are willing to train. After a 90-day probation, full-time employees are eligible for benefits including a 401k and profit sharing after 1 year, with travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Due to the nature of the business, this position will be required to travel to multiple locations, based on clinic needs.

After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, Full Time employees will be eligible for the following benefits:
