Job summary

Houston Dose is seeking a Technician, Repair- Cleaner to detail and clean rental instruments and prepare them for return to stock in the refurbishment process for woodwind and percussion instruments.

The role requires following production standards, turning in accurate daily production reports, reporting QC rejects, and performing general warehousing tasks as needed. Entry level with an apprenticeship or repair school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Detail and clean quality instruments in a timely manner based on production standards.
• Turn in accurate production reports on a daily basis.
• Report QC rejects on a daily basis.
• Perform general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not detailing.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Duty or Responsibility

• Responsible for detailing and cleaning quality instruments in a timely matter based on established production standards.
• Responsible for turning in accurate production reports on a daily basis
• Responsible for reporting QC rejects on a daily basis
• Responsible for performing general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not in operating in a detailer capacity.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required
• Novice proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument cleaning and repair
• Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
