Job summary

Music & Arts seeks an entry-level detailer to clean rental instruments and prepare them for stock refurbishment in the woodwind and percussion categories.

The role requires basic repair tools handling, English literacy, and a repair-school diploma. You will join a small team and perform warehousing tasks when not detailing, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school is required.
• Must read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required.
• Novice proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument cleaning and repair.
• Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Detail and clean quality instruments in a timely manner based on production standards.
• Turn in accurate production reports daily.
• Report QC rejects daily.
• Perform general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not detailing.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Duty or Responsibility

• Responsible for detailing and cleaning quality instruments in a timely matter based on established production standards.
• Responsible for turning in accurate production reports on a daily basis
• Responsible for reporting QC rejects on a daily basis
• Responsible for performing general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not in operating in a detailer capacity.
• Additional duties as assigned.
