Position Summary

Your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to support stores and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart's safety and environmental policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work safely at heights frequently.

Compensation

The hourly wage range is $23.00-$45.00, based on various factors including experience and qualifications. Additional premiums may apply depending on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, or 4 years’ experience in similar fields. EPA Type I and Type II certifications are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the job location's city/state.
