Experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technician job at COLD WAR REFRIGERATION. Chino Hills, CA.

Cold War Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a career-minded Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for talented professionals who are interested in Cold War Refrigeration’s mission and standard of quality customer service and people-first culture.


Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of Ammonia Refrigeration experience.
  • Refrigeration knowledge and experience with compressors, condensers, refrigeration accessories and controls, working knowledge of NH3, NH3 Safety.
  • Electrical knowledge to include efficient troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment to include 480V, 220V, 120V and 24V.
  • Possess working knowledge and ability to efficiently troubleshoot pneumatics, air compressors and components.
  • Possess ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair manufacturing, processing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, if required, including overtime, on-call.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • May be required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of –15 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold and precipitation).
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; and crouch.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools.
  • Able to pass a physical and respiratory exam.
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean record.
