Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you'll support and oversee repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing your skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications...

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools.
• Utilize work order management system for repairs and documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $50.00, with additional premiums based on specific circumstances. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.

Minimum Qualifications:

Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related fields for HVAC/R and controls, or 4 years of experience in similar fields. EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a mechanical license in the city/state where the job is located.
