Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Lead HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and Hot Side appliance repair. This is a commercial-only role involving maintaining, servicing, and repairing HVAC/refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our HVAC/refrigeration systems operate safely and effectively.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC/refrigeration systems and components.
- Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as a multimeter to identify electrical problems.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration & Hot Side equipment.
- Braze components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while working on refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to address complex issues.
- Drive company vehicles to service locations as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role within HVAC and Hot Side appliance repair.
- Strong understanding of HVAC/refrigeration systems is required.
- Proficiency in using tools such as a multimeter for diagnostics.
- Ability to braze and perform advanced fabrication tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must have 5+ years in the industry, with familiarity in Hot Side, Refrigeration & HVAC. This is a Field Lead position.
