PepsiCo Inc. in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control associate to sample and verify product quality to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely and consistently.

You will perform routine quality tests, pull samples during production, record results, and maintain daily quality documentation. The role requires lifting 20–45 lb, standing, and collaborating with production to resolve issues.

Competenze

• Must be able to lift/carry 20–45 lb repeatedly for 10–12 hour shifts.
• Constant standing and walking with sample handling.

Sample and verify product quality to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, consistently, and to specification.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine quality tests and use testing instruments to verify product and package specifications
• Pull product and packaging samples during production to confirm standards (e.g., quality, labeling, freshness dating, fill levels, and container integrity)
• Record test results and maintain daily quality documentation, communicating needed adjustments to help eliminate irregularities
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas during and after shift, following process guidelines and good housekeeping practices
• Expedite quality concerns to management and partner with production and maintenance teams to support efficient, compliant operations

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Position requires lifting/carrying cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour periods (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires continuous standing and walking, manipulating and handling product samples while sitting (with or without accommodation)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with audit compliance and food safety, testing instruments and standard operating procedures
• Experience with mechanical systems including but not limited to cooling/ammonia systems and water treatment systems
• Experience with product changeovers and equipment calibration
