Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and implement preventive maintenance for resident and staff areas. You will communicate with the Maintenance Director on building and equipment conditions and ensure safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities include biohazardous waste practices, maintaining laundry areas, and executing general maintenance duties such as electrical, painting, and carpentry. A structured shift runs 8am–4pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Familiar with emergency procedures for chemical safety.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
• Experience with general maintenance tasks is a plus.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role the Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). You will implement regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff and communicate with the Maintenance Director on the condition of buildings and equipment.

Requirements

• Demonstrates the interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
• Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.

• Schedule is 8am-4pm, Sunday-Wednesday.
