Job summary

Benchmark Bay Square at Yarmouth is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers Sunday–Thursday shifts (7:30–3:30 or 8:00–4:00) with an hourly pay range of $19–$21.

You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance to promote resident and staff well-being, coordinating with the Maintenance Director on building and equipment conditions.

Qualifications

• Familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
• Proper usage of chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintain a clean laundry room and store chemicals properly.
• Follow standards for chemicals used in maintenance.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical skills across trades.
• Operate effectively within the work-order system.
• Perform general maintenance (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Full Time Sunday-Thursday either 7:30-3:30 or 8am-4pm

$19-$21/HR

In this role the Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). You will implement regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff and communicate with the Maintenance Director on the condition of buildings and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
• Follows standards and practices for specific chemicals.
• Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills.
• Works effectively within the work-order system.
• Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)
