Job summary

Bay Square at Yarmouth, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Maine for full-time Sunday-Thursday shifts (7:30-3:30 or 8:00-4:00) with a pay rate of $19-$21 per hour. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and report findings to the Maintenance Director regarding building and equipment conditions.

The role emphasizes solid maintenance skills, safety, and the ability to work within our work-order system to keep resident areas safe and well-maintained,

Qualifications

• Familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Demonstrates the interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
• Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.).
• Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
• Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills.
• Works effectively within the work-order system.
• Communicates with the Maintenance Director on the condition of buildings and equipment.

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Full Time Sunday-Thursday either 7:30-3:30 or 8am-4pm

$19-$21/HR

In this role the Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). You will implement regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff and communicate with the Maintenance Director on the condition of buildings and equipment.
