Job summary

Sibelco North America, Inc. invites applications for a Technician Maintenance at SP Schoolhouse. This role focuses on preventive and curative maintenance, repairing installations, and implementing improvements to keep production running smoothly.

You will interpret processes and drawings, diagnose malfunctions in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and repair them. A forklift certificate and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of lifting, hoisting techniques and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with general technical regulations and safety rules.
• Forklift driving certificate required.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Interpret processes, drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, and procedures.
• Identify malfunctions and log findings in Mendix Reparations system.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions to keep production running.

Technician Maintenance Location: SP Schoolhouse

As a part of the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team the Technician Maintenance role will empower you to take preventive and curative actions as well as maintain, repair and expand the installations and make improvements to the installations in order to keep production running and optimize the operation of the installations. Repair mechanical breakdowns, construct and adapt the installations based on the plans of the technical draughtsman, managers or external parties.

Your Impact in This Role

• Correctly interpret the processes, drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, procedures, etc.
• Signal malfunctions and improvements and register findings in the relevant IT system Mendix Reparations
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic malfunctions.

• A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience

• Certificate to drive the forklift
• Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
