Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Montana is seeking a general laborer to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks, including operating CIPP lining equipment and handling heavy materials.

You must be willing to work outdoors year round and travel as required, with a $60 daily per diem, pass pre-employment drug tests and DOT/driver checks, and contribute to a fast-growing infrastructure team. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in physical labor or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel 100% with daily per diem $60.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver license checks.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• General laborer who performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision.
• Able to work outside year-round.
• Operation and maintenance of all CIPP lining equipment
• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

Skills and Specifications

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.
• Basic or advanced math skills.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime and out of town, 100% travel, includes daily per diem ($60 / day).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver's license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
