Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC seeks a general laborer to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks across outdoor worksites. You will follow directions, perform routine tasks, and operate basic to complex tools, with year-round outdoor work and 100% travel as needed.

The role offers a competitive total compensation package including $60 per day per diem, health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, income protection, off-the-job accident coverage, and paid time

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operation and maintenance of all pipe bursting equipment
• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

Skills and Specifications

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.
• Basic or advanced math skills.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime and out of town, 100% travel, includes daily per diem ($60 / day).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver's license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
