Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Technician 2 HVAC or Power in Mendon, MA. The role involves serving, repairing, and commissioning Aggreko products in both shop and customer-site settings.

You will work in a team or solo, based at the Mendon service center, with daily local travel in a company vehicle. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with power generators or commercial HVAC equipment, plus the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ability to read schematics and determine nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• May need to obtain TWIC card or DOT medical card depending on customer requirements; valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based out of the Mendon, MA service center; travel daily in company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and at customer locations; perform repairs.
• Occasionally work alone or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Technician 2 HVAC or Power in Mendon, MA. You'll work as a team or independently in shops and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products.

What you'll do:

• You'll be based out of our Mendon, MA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.

You are:

• High School diploma/GED
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
