Main Event in Waco, TX is seeking a Technician II to maintain our games and entertainment options. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work to keep equipment running safely and efficiently, with paid on-the-job training.

The role requires 1+ years in repair of automated bowling equipment or arcade games, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer a friendly culture and benefits.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ years of repair and maintenance experience with automated bowling equipment or arcade games.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Team-oriented mindset and good communication.
• Ability to learn multiple systems to support the business.
• Practical knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Basic use of hand tools.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 250 lbs.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble/replace/repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order supplies and tools as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Paid on-the-job training.
