Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair arcade games and bowling equipment at our entertainment centers. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance, troubleshoot game issues, and ensure safe, clean operations for guests and staff.

You will manage inventory, order supplies, and help keep the mechanic shop organized while following OSHA safety practices. The role requires teamwork and availability for varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age.
  • 1+ years of repair/maintenance knowledge of automated bowling equipment or arcade games.
  • Guest-focused mindset.
  • Teamwork is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business.
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools.
  • Ability to perform work on ladders; lift up to 250 lbs.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
  • Ability to wear and work in PPE.
  • Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance work.
  • Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassemble/replace/repair components like bearings, coils, armatures, wiring.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
  • Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
