Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair games and entertainment systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation. This role emphasizes hands-on electrical and mechanical work, preventive maintenance, and strong guest service.

The technician will follow safety procedures, manage parts inventory, and support a team in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of repair experience on arcade or bowling equipment, a safety-first

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of repair and maintenance experience on automated arcade or bowling equipment is preferred
• Guest-focused mindset and strong problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot repairs on games and related equipment
• Disassemble/replace/repair mechanical and electrical components
• Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean

Job Description: At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
• Ability to perform work on ladders
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
