Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician to maintain our games and entertainment options, ensuring they operate safely and reliably. You will repair electrical and mechanical components, service bowling equipment and arcade games, and keep the mechanic shop organized.

The role requires 18+ with strong problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to learn multiple systems. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to grow into trainer roles and participate in a new center opening.

  • General knowledge of repair and maintenance of arcade games and automated bowling equipment
  • Skilled in electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to work on ladders
  • Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to wear PPE and communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance and repairs on games and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassemble and replace mechanical and electrical components
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed
  • Keep the mechanic shop and facility clean and organized
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador
  • Paid on-the-job training

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

  • Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
  • Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
  • Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
  • Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
  • Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 18+ years of age
