Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a qualified Technician to maintain and repair games and equipment, ensuring safety and high performance. You will manage preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards while delivering a FUN guest experience.

Role requires hands-on electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and tool use, with flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.

• Ability to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and PPE usage.
• Good communication with management, team, and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work for construction, repairs, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Participate in paid on-the-job training.

Job Description

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the centre’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What will you be doing daily?

• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
• Paid on-the-job training!

Position Requirements

• 18+ years of age
