Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician to maintain our games and entertainment options, ensuring safety and performance. You will work on electrical, mechanical, and technical tasks and support the center's equipment and facilities.

The role includes troubleshooting, repairs, inventory maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. Paid on-the-job training is provided, with a friendly guest-focused team environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn multiple systems supporting the business.
• General knowledge of repair/maintenance of arcade equipment and bowling systems.
• Practical electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics skills.
• Basic hand tools and safe tool handling.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and PPE use.
• Good communication with colleagues and guests.
• Availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble/replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Interact with guests as a friendly, helpful ambassador.
• Participate in paid on-the-job training.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the centers equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. Youre also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age

• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• General knowledge/skill set on the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
• Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
• Ability to perform work on ladders
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
