Job summary

Smart City Networks is seeking a hands-on, entry-level Technician to join our Convention Services team. This on-site, part-time role supports exhibitors at events, from setup to teardown, ensuring clients stay connected.

You’ll work with network hardware, cabling, and real-time problem solving, delivering excellent service to exhibitors and event staff. This entry-level IT role is ideal for a tech-curious individual starting a career in telecom networking.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, tech-curious, and customer-focused Technician to join our Convention Services team. This is a great entry-level opportunity to start a career in IT and telecom networking while working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

You'll be onsite at events, ensuring clients are connected and supported from setup to teardown. You'll gain practical experience with network hardware, cable installations, and real-time problem solving—while delivering excellent service to exhibitors and event teams.

What You'll Do
