Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment. The role involves working with a team in a safety-focused environment and fielding diesel and heavy equipment responsibilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of technician experience; some trade training is a plus. Flexibility to work indoors/outdoors and relocate to a local branch may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work with a team in a safety-focused environment to minimize downtime.
• Operate and service Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC or oil/gas equipment as needed.
